Bereits zum zweiten Mal ist die Bibliothek der PH Z\u00fcrich Mitveranstalterin einer hochschul\u00fcbergreifenden Veranstaltungsreihe w\u00e4hrend der internationalen Open-Access-Week. Der inhaltliche Fokus liegt diesmal auf nachhaltigen Modellen f\u00fcr Open Access.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marius Stricker, wie kam die Zusammenarbeit zustande und was ist das Ziel einer solchen hochschul\u00fcbergreifenden Reihe?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marius Stricker:<\/strong> \u00abLetztes Jahr kamen meine Kolleg:innen der ZHAW mit der Idee auf mich zu, gemeinsam w\u00e4hrend der internationalen Open-Access-Week sogenannte Coffee Lectures (CL) \u00fcber Mittag anzubieten, woraufhin wir innerhalb von zwei Wochen ein Programm auf die Beine stellten. Unser Zielpublikum waren bereits damals die Forschenden. Wir sahen allerdings, dass die CLs vorwiegend von unseren Kolleg:innen aus den Bibliotheken besucht wurden. Darum haben wir f\u00fcr dieses Jahr eine konzeptionelle Weiterentwicklung vorgenommen und externe Referent:innen eingeladen, die in der Forschung fest verankert sind. Es ist uns gelungen, ein attraktives Programm zusammenzustellen: Es umfasst einst\u00fcndige Lunch Lectures, ein Netzwerktreffen f\u00fcr OA-Beauftragte und \u2013 das Highlight der Woche \u2013 eine Podiumsdiskussion zu Diamond Open Access.\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weshalb ist der diesj\u00e4hrige Schwerpunkt \u00abnachhaltige Modelle f\u00fcr Open Access\u00bb von Bedeutung?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marius Stricker:<\/strong> \u00abJ\u00fcngste Preisentwicklungen f\u00fcr Publikationsgeb\u00fchren bei Verlagskonzernen zeigen, dass f\u00fcr die OA-Transformation unbedingt alternative Modelle zu Gold OA gef\u00f6rdert werden sollten. Wenn in einem Nature-Journal 10’000 Dollar bezahlt werden m\u00fcssen, damit ein Artikel Open Access publiziert wird, leuchtet ein, dass dies f\u00fcr die Hochschulen kein nachhaltiges Finanzierungsmodell darstellt. Mit OA Gr\u00fcn und Diamond stehen zwei interessante Publikationsmodelle zur Verf\u00fcgung, deren Finanzierungsaufwand bedeutend moderater ausf\u00e4llt. Hier setzen wir an und diskutieren die beiden Alternativen mit besonderem Fokus darauf, was es f\u00fcr Fachgesellschaften bedeutet, ein Diamond OA-Journal herauszugeben.\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n
